Advanced Tactical Marksmanship Equipment
Clothing
- Students will wear their department-issued equipment for a tactical callout or duty.
- BDU – Pants and Shirt – combat shirts are acceptable.
- Boots
Mandatory Equipment
- Patrol Rifle (.223/5.56) or Pistol Caliber Carbine and 3 Magazines
- Rifle Sling
- Semi-automatic handgun 9mm or larger with a minimum of 3 magazines (5 if single stack).
- Holsters must be attached via a belt (paddle holsters are not allowed), with an active or passive retention device to secure the weapon in the holster. No SERPA or Vanguard holsters.
- Minimum 500 rounds of rifle AND pistol ammo
- Full callout gear
- Eye and Electronic Ear Protection
- Flashlight
- Weather Gear- We will be training regardless of the conditions.
- Food/Water for every day of training
- Pen/Paper
- Sharpie
- IFAK
Suggested Equipment
- Pants with internal knee pads.
- Spare batteries for all electronics
- Gloves
- Magazine loader
